We're about to go!

Wow, what an experience this has been so far! It's hard to believe that last July when we wrote the grant that we would actually be taking 8 students to Bolivia. Now that we leave on Wednesday (6 days from now!), it's even harder to believe that we got everything done that needed to get done to make it all happen.

Without going into great detail here about what we've done so far, I'll simply say that we've met with the students on two occasions so far. The first time was to talk about trip and learn more about Bolivia. The second meeting was to teach some video techniques and to discuss logistics of the trip. Needless to say, everyone is excited about going.

We plan to use this blog to document our trip through pictures and narrative so those of you who couldn't phyically join us this time can at least be with us virtually. I hope to have all of us on the trip post to the blog so you can read different perspectives about what we're doing. I also encourage all of you reading this to share this blog with your students and colleagues so they can learn more about the wonderful things YOU are all doing in the library science program.
